Beautiful People: Shipping

Well, for the first time ever, I am trying a linkup. Mainly because it was about shipping.
So here goes nothing, we'll see how this turns out!

So this thing is about shipping. I don't have many books in process right now, but my all time favorite OTP out of them is Ulysses and Erin. He's, well, basically Sherlock Holmes and she's a freelancing hit(wo)man. Often times Ulysses has to get her out of trouble. They're adorable. Since there are actual questions to go with this thing, I'm gonna go ahead and get to them.

1. How long have they been a couple?

To be honest, Ulysses and Erin don't know they're a couple. In the book, they've already been friends for quite a while, but Barker, Stocker, and Thursday, Ulysses' "gang," have been shipping them for a very long time now. Probably at the very least 6 months. They pretend to ignore them.

2. How did they first meet?
Well, she bet him fifty dollars she could steal his wallet. He laughed and said "I'd like to see you try."
She pinned him to the wall and stole it. So.

3. What were their first thoughts of each other? (Love at first sight or “you’re freakishly annoying”?)
Well, Ulysses' first thought was something along the lines of
Erin was probably thinking
(She calls him genius and Sherlock a lot, it's really adorable)
Past that, their first thoughts were "Eh. We tolerate each other."

4. What do they do that most annoys each other?

Ulysses- Often times Erin is much more outgoing than he is. Sometimes he gets a little irritated with the noise.

Erin- Ulysses probably doesn't work out as much as Erin does, and she probably gets annoyed when he gets lazy.

5. Are their personalities opposite or similar?
Ulysses is ISTP and Erin is ESTP, so they're very similar as far as MBTI goes. They're rather insensitive as far as emotions go and often prank and tease each other. They don't really see anything wrong with beating the other to a pulp for fun. It's hilarious.
I should post something with them soon, shouldn't I? Honestly they're an adorable couple, even if they don't think so.

6. How would their lives be different without each other?
Well, to be honest, pretty similar. They'd probably both be a bit more scarred and a little worse for the wear, considering Erin did save Ulysses from falling off a train (not without dislocating both his shoulders, but eh), but I think they'd make do alone just as well as with each other.

7. Are they ever embarrassed of each other?
Ulysses probably gets embarrassed when Erin goes off on a rant over how amazing one of his cases was, but he would never tell her this.
I don't think Erin has the capability to feel embarrassed (side note here, she's also a mild psychopath. It was not intended. That doesn't really have to do with the question, I just think it's cool).

8. Does anyone disapprove of  their relationship?
They do. No. Not that I know of, though Terran Kimbrell (one of my antagonists) would reaaaaallly like to get Ulysses to fall in love with her.

9. Do they see their relationship as long-term/leading to marriage?
They don't, really, since they don't technically see it as a relationship, but Ulysses' entire gang already has almost the entire wedding planned. Ulysses and Erin are unaware of this.

10. If they could plan the "perfect outing" together, where would they go?
Ulysses: To the gym and I could beat Erin up, then we'd go for tea or something.
Erin: To the gym, and I could beat Ulysses up, then we'd go for tea or something.

Welp. That's that.

Shout-out to my friend who let me use Erin after she sort of walked out of her book. If you couldn't tell, she is having a marvelous time in mine.

What do you all think? Should I keep doing these things? Would you like to see more about Erin and Ulysses (or his gang)?
